Referral Diver

The SSI Referral Diver program is built for people who want to start scuba certification now but finish it somewhere more scenic. You'll complete the mandatory in-person academic session and confined water (pool) training at Get-N-Wet Scuba's Harrisburg, PA facility, working through the same skills and knowledge as our full Open Water Diver course. Once you've finished, you'll be certified as a Referral Diver, a rating that's valid for six months and accepted by dive operators worldwide.

From there, you can complete your open water certification dives wherever your travels take you — a Caribbean beach vacation, a liveaboard trip, or any SSI-affiliated dive center. It's the same certification path as our complete Open Water Diver course, just split so your travel schedule (not a training calendar) decides when and where you finish.

Anywhere with an SSI-affiliated dive center — many divers finish on a warm-water vacation. If you'd rather stay local, we also offer the Referral Diver Open Water Dives package to finish here in PA.
